Lawyer with more than 25 years of experience in corporate, banking and finance law and capital markets, with a consolidated track record in structuring and executing highly complex financial transactions. He is one of the leading practitioners in capital markets and financial regulation in Paraguay.
He leads the firm’s Banking and Finance practice, advising on financing structures, securities issuances, debt instruments, registration processes and regulatory compliance before supervisory authorities, as well as on transactions requiring multidisciplinary coordination and sophisticated technical design. His practice combines legal precision, commercial focus and deep understanding of the regulatory environment.
He serves as President of the Asunción Stock Exchange, a position that reflects his institutional leadership and active participation in the modernization and strengthening of Paraguay’s capital markets. He has been involved in initiatives related to regulatory evolution, interaction with supervisory authorities and consolidation of market standards.
He has specialized training in anti-money laundering and financial regulation, advising in highly regulated environments and in structures requiring strict compliance and comprehensive regulatory and financial risk management.
