A MERSAN prestou assessoria à DEG em um financiamento transfronteiriço no Paraguai

MERSAN acted as local legal counsel to DEG – Sociedade Alemã de Investimento e Desenvolvimento in connection with a long-term unsecured financing granted to Banco Continental S.A.E.C.A.

The transaction was structured through two separate credit facilities in different currencies:

Empréstimo A: até US$ 100.000.000

Empréstimo B: até 20.000.000 de euros

As legal counsel, we advised on the applicable regulatory framework, assisted with the borrower’s legal due diligence process, and supported the review and alignment of the transaction documentation under Paraguayan law.
